Baa Baa Black Sheep (Pre-Nursery / Nursery 1)

Area of Development : Creative Expression / Social Skills / Mathematics Concept - Colour Mixing

Learning Objectives : To express their creativity using various mediums / interact with peers in the classroom environment / observe mixing black and white gives grey

Description : Baa Baa Black Sheep, have you any wool? Of course, this painting expression is associated with cotton wool from the Baa Baa Black Sheep. Using cotton wool as an art medium, the children painted it grey excitedly. But HOW did they get the colour grey? The answer is as simple as 1,2,3. With little help from the teachers, the children just mixed black and white together to get grey. Wasn't it smart of these little ones? Cheers!!

Royce used his left hand to paint the cotton wool.

Ethan's paintbrush got stuck in the cotton wool.

Caden worked hard to paint the cotoon wool.

Rui Kang could do it all by himself.

Alvin was encouraged by the teacher to give it a try.
